It gives us immense pleasure to present the first volume of the journal “JOURNAL OF ADVANCED LUNG HEALTH” to the readers. This is a new addition to the myriads of medical journals, and we at the editorial office are committed to provide a unique learning experience to the readers. As the name of the journal implies, our vision is to present before the readers the latest developments and recent advances in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. The art of clinical medicine cannot be learned from manuscripts alone and there is no substitute to imbibing of knowledge from stalwarts. Keeping this in mind, due importance also is given to share the experience of seasoned clinicians.
The editorial board of JALH has a team of national and international experts, which is a blend of seasoned academicians and popular teachers. We sincerely hope that their far-sighted advice and suggestions backed by their immense clinical experience will help us to maintain high academic quality in par with global standards. The journal employs an electronic manuscript management system with two blinded peer reviews for all submitted articles that advance beyond the editorial review. The submission portal is simple and user friendly. We believe that authors will appreciate the simplicity in submission and article processing.
Apart from the usual contents, we have manuscript categories such as image window, postgraduate forum, and expert view to cater to the need of heterogeneous strata of readers. We would like to assure all the readers that the journal will strive to present quality articles of contemporary importance and will always strive for further improvement. We solicit your wholehearted patronage to this new endeavor.
